Job Overview



We are seeking an energetic and service-driven

Front of House Manager

to lead our restaurant team and ensure an exceptional guest experience from door to table. As the face of the establishment, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure staff deliver outstanding service, and implement strategies to drive guest satisfaction, sales, and overall performance. This role requires a balance of leadership, attention to detail, and hospitality passion to maintain the restaurant's high standards and reputation.

Key Responsibilities Experience & Service Excellence



Lead all front-of-house operations, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient guest experience. Monitor service standards and floor performance to guarantee consistency during all shifts. Resolve guest concerns promptly with courtesy and professionalism. Actively promote

positive Google and online reviews

by encouraging happy guests to share their experiences and following up on feedback for improvement.

Team Leadership & Training



Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house staff to deliver excellent hospitality and upselling techniques. Conduct regular

staff training sessions

on service etiquette, menu knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement. Foster a motivated, professional, and collaborative work environment. Evaluate employee performance and provide continuous feedback and coaching.

Sales Growth & Marketing Initiatives



Drive

sales performance

through staff motivation, upselling, and cross-selling strategies. Coordinate and execute

sampling activities

to promote new menu items or special campaigns. Support seasonal promotions, events, and marketing activations to attract and retain customers. Work with the management and ownership team to set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Operational Excellence



Oversee daily operations including floor supervision, cash handling, and POS management. Manage staff scheduling and shift organization to ensure proper coverage and efficiency. Maintain the dining room's cleanliness, organization, and ambiance in line with brand standards. Monitor and manage supplies, liaising with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow. Enforce compliance with

health, safety, and sanitation standards.


Collaboration & Communication



Communicate clearly with the ownership and management team to ensure all

directives, standards, and rules

are followed precisely. Execute owners' tasks and operational goals promptly and accurately. Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and back-of-house teams to deliver seamless service.

Requirements



Proven experience as a

Front of House Manager, Assistant Manager, or Floor Supervisor

in a busy cafe or restaurant. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Demonstrated ability to increase sales through upselling and guest engagement. Experience in staff training, performance coaching, and motivation. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong understanding of POS systems, cash handling, and daily reporting. Professional demeanor with a guest-first attitude. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
