Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Float Driver to join our transportation team! As a Float Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods and personnel across various locations. Duties

Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tow trucks, flatbeds and transport trucks. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and report any maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, route details, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance and operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve issues swiftly. Support other departments by providing flexible driving services as needed across different locations or roles.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery driver roles with a strong understanding of route driving principles. Familiarity with operating various types of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds or tow trucks Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with forklift operation, pallet jacks, or heavy equipment operation enhances your versatility. Prior warehouse experience or working in logistics environments is a plus. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type operated; CDL license preferred for certain roles. Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
