Job Description
The successful incumbent will provide care for patients as part of a multidisciplinary team within a critical care setting. The Flight Nurse (FN) will work with a critically trained Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), supplemented with the presence of a Transport Physician either in person or on-line, to provide high quality care and service, which includes rapid response assessment, intervention, and safe transport of critically ill or injured patients (all age categories) including scene response and/or inter-facility transfer. This service is provided twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days per week. Rotation will be 12 hour shifts, 1 week on 1 weeks off, or alternatively 2 week on 2 week off rotation.
