Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Escort Nurse to join our Montreal-based team. In this role, you will serve as an in-flight medical professional aboard our dedicated air ambulance aircraft, providing safe, compassionate, and high-level care during patient transfers within Quebec. You will work in a team of two medical escorts and respond to dispatches within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced nursing care to patients during air ambulance transports within Quebec. Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients throughout flight operations. Collaborate closely with your medical partner and flight crew to ensure safe and efficient missions. Communicate effectively with sending and receiving medical facilities. Maintain readiness during 24-hour on-call shifts, with a 45-minute dispatch requirement. Uphold EVAC Air Consultants' standards for patient safety, professionalism, and medical excellence.
Required Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience. Active Quebec nursing license (OIIQ). Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Clinical experience in ICU, Emergency Room, or Operating Room settings. Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous air medical or flight nursing experience (an asset, not mandatory). Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, dynamic environments. Comfort with autonomous clinical decision-making.
Work Conditions

24-hour on-call shifts with 45-minute dispatch time. Flights occur 24/7, year-round. Pair-based medical team model. All flights conducted on dedicated air ambulance aircraft based in Montreal.
