We are seeking a new recruit to join our growing team in Kelowna as a Flight Dispatcher.The Flight Dispatcher is responsible to the Director of Flight Operations for exercisingoperational control over company flights operated under the Type A OCS and providingsupport to the flight crews.Flight Dispatchers are responsible for the preparation of Flight Packages, including route& weather analysis. They generate flight plans, and file them with the appropriate ATC's.Flight Dispatchers provide flight crews with a thorough weather & flight briefing, andcommunicate with stations & other internal departments as required.REQUIREMENTS We're looking for a Dispatcher who currently holds their Transport Canada Dispatcher License and is an exceptional oral & written communicator. Critical thinking & Problem solving are key in this role, as Dispatchers often must think on their feet when confronted with unexpected situations.
