Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fleet Operator Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing our fleet of e-scooters. Key tasks include changing batteries, rebalancing the fleet, and charging batteries at our charging station. The role also requires driving a vehicle to transport equipment and tools, patrolling the city to ensure proper parking of e-scooters, reporting any misconduct, conducting field quality checks, and performing basic maintenance tasks.Additionally, the candidate will assist customers with inquiries and help recover lost or missing e-scooters. Safety is our top priority, so adherence to safety procedures and techniques is mandatory at all times. The candidate must also be willing to work at our Cavendish Storefront rentals and be able to commute with their own vehicle between Summerside and Cavendish.Hours: 10 - 20 hours per week( days, evenings, and weekends)Job type: SeasonalResponsibilities:

• Change batteries and perform routine maintenance on e-scooters
• Rebalance the fleet of e-scooters to ensure optimal distribution
• Charge e-scooter batteries our charging location
• Drive a van to transport equipment and tools
• Patrol the city to ensure that e-scooters are properly parked and the city is neat and tidy
• Report any bad behavior or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Conduct field quality checks on e-scooters to ensure they are in good working condition
• Assist customers with questions and provide exceptional customer service
• Help recover lost or missing e-scooters
• Assist customers at store front rentals
• Must be willing to travel between Summerside and Cavendish
• Follow safety procedures and techniques at all times
• Any other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Previous experience working in a field operations role is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings,nights and weekends
• Must have a vehicle

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions
