Job Overview


LN Land Development Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet & Equipment Coordinator to manage the maintenance, compliance, and utilization of our corporate fleet and technical equipment. This role supports both operational and technical teams, ensuring that all vehicles and survey equipment (including Trimble systems ) are maintained, safe, and deployment-ready across multiple project sites.


Reporting to the Operations Manager , this position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of LN's fleet and survey assets, coordinating servicing, tracking performance, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.


Schedule: Monday to Friday (on-site, with occasional field travel as required)

Key Responsibilities


Fleet Management


Maintain accurate vehicle inventory and assignments using Astreon Fleet Management Software


Schedule and track preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs


Monitor driver performance and produce safety and utilization reports


Collaborate with the Safety team to address issues identified during vehicle inspections


Survey Equipment Management


Maintain a current inventory of all Survey and Geotechnical equipment (Trimble, Total Stations, GPS, and related instruments) using Asset Panda


Coordinate calibration, servicing, and repairs


Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of sensitive instruments


Provide basic troubleshooting support for Trimble or other survey systems


Compliance & Safety


Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet regulatory and company safety standards


Maintain up-to-date documentation (licenses, inspection reports, calibration certificates)


Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure readiness and compliance


Operational Support


Allocate vehicles and equipment to crews based on project and scheduling needs


Liaise with vendors and service providers for parts, repairs, rentals, and logistics


Perform or coordinate minor repairs and maintenance as needed


Reporting & Documentation


Prepare regular reports on fleet and equipment utilization, maintenance, and costs


Support budgeting and forecasting for fleet and equipment operations


Maintain detailed digital records in Astreon and Asset Panda


Qualifications, Skills & Experience


3+ years of experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or equipment management (construction or industrial environment preferred)


Working knowledge of Trimble survey equipment, GPS systems, and data collectors (required)


Strong technical understanding of vehicle and equipment maintenance


Experience with Astreon Fleet Management and Asset Panda (asset)


Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract


Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general data management tools


Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail


Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities


Work Conditions


Office-based role in Fort McMurray , with occasional field travel


Must be physically able to perform inspections and light hands-on work


Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
