Assistant Rental Manager / Fleet Coordinator Whitehorse Station Job Type: Full-time (35 \xe2\x80\x93 40 hours), year round GoNorth Travel, LLC is a family owned Tourism company with a large RV and SUV rental fleet. We are looking for a highly motivated multilingual Fleet Coordinator for our Whitehorse station. Please note that housing is not provided. Responsibilities of the Assistant Rental Manager / Fleet Coordinator include:
  • Help reservation and Rental/Station Managers finding solutions to problems with broken down or damaged rental units;
  • Assign vehicles to existing bookings, mainly for Whitehorse station;
  • Assist the Whitehorse Rental Manager in all his/her duties in our Whitehorse Station as his/her deputy including, but not limited to detailing rental vehicles and housekeeping for RVs;
  • Assist the Service Manager in his/her administrative duties in our Whitehorse Station;
  • Enter all vehicle related information and events in complex database in real time and coordinate all steps with the purchasing-, financing-, administration-, insurance-, reservation-, mechanic-and sales-teams companywide (USA and Canada);
  • Check status of each vehicle online and inform appropriate departments of any extraordinary conditions or circumstances;
  • Coordinate vehicle status with rental availability (reservations)
  • Assist the CEO with creating complex statistics based on confidential internal numbers and external public information;
  • And other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Higher College Education
  • Excellent English and German language skills (reading, writing, speaking)
  • At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 previous experience in similar operations
  • Excellent Team Player, communications, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (proficient in MS Office applications)
  • Ability to work independently and with highest accuracy within required time frames
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays during rental season
  • Positive attitude
