Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Flatbed Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, operate heavy equipment, and contribute to the efficient delivery of products. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, automotive repair, and heavy equipment handling are highly valued. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations within scheduled timelines Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues Assist in the operation of heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading processes

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting skills preferred Strong attention to safety protocols and compliance standards Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform tasks that require standing or walking for extended periods Prior experience operating heavy equipment or performing automotive repairs is advantageous

Pay

We pay 0.70 cents per mile average 10000 miles in a month
