This role is critical in managing relationships with owner-operators, recruiting new carriers, planning loads, and ensuring smooth dispatch operations. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with customer satisfaction.
Maintain strong relationships with existing owner-operators.
Recruit and onboard new owner-operators to grow capacity and support business expansion.
Serve as a point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and timely communication.
Build and maintain long-term relationships to support repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Plan and schedule loads efficiently to maximize profitability and meet customer requirements.
Act as a dispatcher for owner-operators, providing clear instructions and support throughout the delivery process.
Monitor load progress and resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Post-secondary education (preferably Logistics, Business Administration or related field)
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch operations (trucking industry experience preferred).
Bilingualism (French/English) preferred
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
