In this vital role, you'll coordinate the movement of flatbed freight, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fleet utilization. Responsibilities

Customer Relations - Communicate with new and existing customers in order to develop rate proposals, manage and update rates or Fuel Surcharge requirements, take load bookings and ensure load completion along with customer satisfaction, provide carrier packages and compliance documents as needed. Dispatching - Build detailed loads in TMS System upon booking, plan loads and dispatch accordingly with drivers. Additionally, make efforts to maximize transportation efficiencies by contacting customers to secure return loads when possible. Driver Management - Communicate daily with drivers regarding dispatch and rates, ensure all compliance is up to date, ensure loads are completed to satisfaction and paperwork/photos provided, manage time off bookings. Equipment - Ensure appropriate equipment is available and coordinate relocation as needed.

Ability to:

Coordinate, organize, schedule, and prioritize loads between customers and drivers. Use a strategic thought process in planning to ensure customer satisfaction, driver efficiency and maximizing profitability. Communicate with customer in the most effective manner which includes telephone, text and/or email in order to maximize the use of equipment. Work under pressure and manage time well. Work with a wide variety of people Follow oral and writen instructions with strong attention to detail. Recognize potenial challenges and mitigate accordingly. Effectively communicate with management and team members Learn and effectively use required computer applications (Dispatch System, GPS System, Microsoft Office)

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
