Flat Roofing Service Manager

to lead and grow our service department. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily service operations, managing service teams, and delivering top-quality work and customer service in all aspects of the flat roofing repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and support a team of flat roofing service technicians. Receive, access, and prioritize service requests: schedule and dispatch crews accordingly. Diagnose roofing issues, recommend effective solutions, and provide accurate repair quotes. Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of service calls, materials used, work performed, and client interactions. Monitor and manage service inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and functionality. Build and maintain strong client relationships: respond promptly to concerns and ensure satisfaction. Identify and pursue opportunities to promote service contracts and upsell additional services. Track and control department expenses to maintain cost efficiency. Stay informed on industry trends, new products, and best practices in flat roofing systems. Enforce adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems and repair methods. At least 2 years of experience specifically in roofing service work. Prior experience in a supervisory or management role within roofing or construction is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities. Proficient in Windows and Office 365 computer applications. Working knowledge of job management software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures. A passion for delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
