Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with flat roofing systems, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems (including SBS, TPO, EPDM, and torch-on membranes) Prepare roof surfaces by removing old materials and ensuring proper substrate conditions Apply waterproofing membranes and insulation according to manufacturer specifications Operate hand tools and roofing equipment safely and efficiently Ensure compliance with company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations Work collaboratively with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards Perform inspections and identify potential issues or defects

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in flat roofing installation (commercial or residential) Knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and safety practices Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions Strong physical stamina and attention to detail Valid driver's license and reliable transportation WorkSafeBC Fall Protection certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Skills

Experience with torch-on and multi-ply systems Familiarity with building envelope and waterproofing details Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
