We seek experienced and safety-conscious Flaggers/Traffic Control personnel to assist in managing traffic flow and ensuring safety at construction sites.

This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations and protecting workers and the public during construction activities.

This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects!

Day to day duties:

Set-up and maintain traffic control equipment Effectively direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction zones Give traffic control directions and signals clearly and precisely Coordinate with construction crews to facilitate safe movement of heavy equipment Adherence to all BC safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on-site

Monitor work zones for safety hazards and report issues promptly

Attends health and safety toolbox/tailgate meetings as required

Collaborates - Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shard objectives.

Requirements:

Being alert and attentive to details (no phones) responsive people, show up prepared, we are growing out teams and ever evolving, be proactive, professional demeanor Prior experience of 8 months minimum from a flagging company

Strong communication skills & fluent in English (read, write, speak) f

or effective coordination with team members and traffic management

Great attitude- No Grumps

People who want to be there and proactive Knowledge of heavy equipment operation an asset Understanding of construction safety protocols essential, constr. site exp. an asset Must be receptive to new practices to safety details Includes on-time arrivals, reliable, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to read and manage traffic management plans Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and responsiveness to standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
