Under the direction of the Regional Manager - Manitoba, Saskatchewan & NW Ontario, the Fixed Operation Specialist - Manitoba is a client-facing role that is customer service and sales oriented. This position is the first point of contact for service departments of assigned accounts. It provides exceptional support and knowledge transfer for our products, application methods, equipment, and our claims processes for all FCPP and mechanical breakdown claims. This is a robust role that identifies and acts on areas of opportunity for sales and training to support customer satisfaction.


Essential Responsibilities:





Train and advise on all First Canadian related chemical applications. Ensure that dealers have sufficient chemical products in stock. Assist with any dealership product ordering requirements. Repair/replace any First Canadian supplied equipment. Working with dealerships, customers, and claims department to schedule and repair authorized Autoguard claims. Visit chemical applicators on a regular basis to develop and maintain good working relationships. Train and advise on Mechanical Breakdown, Tire and Rim, Key Fob/Remote, and Chemical claims. Setting up and training on First Canadian web claims portal. Visit Service Advisors and Service Managers on a regular basis to develop and maintain good working relationships. Assist with warranty claims/concerns and issues by collecting relevant information and reviewing with claims department to come to agreeable solutions. Develop and maintain good working relationships with the First Canadian field team and head office staff. Be readily available to answer any phone calls, texts, or emails, and if not immediately available, respond in a reasonable time frame. Work together with the First Canadian field team to help promote and increase the overall Chemical Protections, Ancillary Products, and FCPP Warranty sales. Be available for any requested in-dealership Chemical Protections demonstrations or required emergency dealership situations, possibly outside of regular business hours. Keep up with all Admin duties, including inventory, expenses, car logs, call reporting. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:




High school graduate is required. Experience in an automobile service department as an Advisor, Technician or Applicator. Clean driving record and valid class 5 driver's license is required/an asset.. Clean driving record, valid class 5 driver's license, and mobility for intra-provincial travel is required/an asset. Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required. Technical/Mechanical abilities in repairing application equipment. Sales and customer service experience is an asset. Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required. Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is preferred. Ability to travel daily from home office to Dealer Accounts and field calls. May require frequent out of town or some overnight travel. Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, education verification, license and certification verification (where applicable), and employment reference checks is required before employment.
