We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fitting, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. As a Welder/Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately. Perform welding tasks using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Utilize plasma cutting equipment to cut metal pieces as required. Assemble metal parts using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring structural integrity. Rig and build ductwork systems according to specifications. Operate power tools and forklifts safely and efficiently during the fabrication process. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fitting, with strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Familiarity with plasma cutting equipment and techniques. Ability to operate forklifts and other power tools safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods as required by the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
