Position Summary


CIMCO is looking for experienced Fitter-Welders for our facility in Burlington.


Jobs Available:


Fitter-Welder: Fit weldments with proper root gap, bevel preparations. Those with experience will be preferred.


Role Responsibilities


Using and maintaining specialized machines and tools Assembling components so they are ready for installation Reading and interpreting project plans Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project Finding and fixing faults in pipework Carrying out planned maintenance checks
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications


Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important. Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail. unionized environment.
