The Fitness Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales and revenue goals and reporting to the General Manager.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the assigned territory, including fitness centers, gyms, health clubs, and individual customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and maximizing sales potential.
Prospect and cold call potential customers to generate new business leads.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our fitness equipment.
Provide product recommendations and advice to clients based on their needs and preferences.
Negotiate sales contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the company and the customer.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to coordinate sales efforts and achieve company objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and network with potential customers.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative documents as required.
Education
Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Business or Management
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Exemplary leadership, time management, planning, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of social media channels, MS Office Suite, Photoshop and manage websites
Ability to problem solve, manage change and be flexible
Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of the organization
Ability to fully understand and embrace company culture
Experience
2 years in a B2B or fitness equipment sales role
Strong sales and customer service background
Success in exceeding individual and team sales goals
Previous sales experience in the fitness industry a strong asset
Working Conditions
8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
May be required to drive for client meetings
Variety of standing or sitting for 5-8 hours continuously
