CFM Air Equipment is a full solutions compressor house established 50 years ago in Calgary. In 2015, we opened up a branch office in Regina. CFM Air markets compressors, pumps, blowers, dryers, vacuum systems, replacement parts, air end rebuilds, equipment rentals and provides 24/7 service on all makes of compressors and ancillary compressed air equipment. CFM Air Equipment is the Kaeser distributor for central/southern Saskatchewan. In addition, CFM Air has access to other lines of reciprocating, oil free and portable compressors.
We are seeking an outside sales person to join our team. The outside sales person will be responsible for growing our market share in central/southern Saskatchewan. The primary focus will be to visit new and existing clients. As a family business, we are looking for an applicant that will grow with us and be with us for the long term. The most important traits we are looking for is someone that is reliable, honest, self-motivated, high innovative and self-directed.
Position Summary:
The outside sales representative will strive to represent CFM Air Equipment with exceptional customer service by listening to the customers requirements, identifying solutions by presenting our industry leading expertise and technical support, and presenting our technically advanced product line.
This position is responsible for assisting customers and prospective customers with technical expertise in compressed air products.
This position will also work closely with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction.
Position in based in Regina, Saskatchewan
Position Responsibilities:
Generate Revenue - Call on new and existing industrial customers including existing competitor accounts and cold calls. Focus will be on sales of new machines, accessories, parts, rentals, energy/efficiency audits and service agreements.
Prepare customer presentations, quotations, and RFQ's
Keep current with all product knowledge and training needed. Creatively provide solutions to customer needs.
Earn customer loyalty via troubleshooting to resolve customer satisfaction issues, managing orders and working closely with the service team on active jobs.
Maintain quote log of all communications and face-to-face customer interactions in the order management system. Record order follow-up activities (e.g. delivery), reporting requirements (email) and database requirements.
Manage Orders - Ensure that all orders obtained are error-free. Ensure resolution of all customer disputes. Manage all costs associated with selling efforts, including travel and entertainment expenditures
Work with the service department developing new customers and ensuring satisfaction among current customers.
Prepare weekly forecasting based on a CRM for current & prospective orders
Participate in sales call meetings (weekly)
Secondary Duties:
Work with the company software for sales orders (Spire)
Assist with receiving and processing shipments (if required)
Assist the service department (if required)
Filing and record keeping
Processing customer payments
Operate a forklift (if required)
Skills/Qualifications:
Three years sales experience with industrial products and services - preferably compressed air, technical education or equivalent knowledge gained from experience
Experience with sales territory management and its actual implementation
Degree/diploma in a related electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience
Self starter with prospecting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Excel computer applications required
Proven time management skills
Excellent relationship-building skills, including verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Clean driving record
Wages:
Wage plus commission based structure to be determined based on previous experience
We offer a benefits package, profit share plan and RRSP plan. A cell phone and tablet/laptop will be provided.
The sales person will be required to use their own vehicle for sales calls. An app will be provided for mileage tracking and compensation will be paid according to the Government of Canada guidelines.
Kaeser KFaCT training on system basics, air system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and clean air treatment will be provided

Pay: $70,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
