- Prepare nets, lines and other fishing gear, and operate fishing gear to catch fish.
- Set and retrieve nets.
- Clean, sort and pack fish in bins with ice.
- Maintain fishing gear and other deck equipment.
- Clean deck surfaces, and clean work area.
- Handle mooring lines during docking.
- Act in compliance with Health and safety regulations
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, lift and twist.
- Must be physically fit and posses the necessary physical ability to carry out maintenance activities
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs occassionally
- Comfortable working on the water
