Remote / WFH / Hybrid: Hybrid

Travel: Seasonal during the summer months.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing relationships within our core service sectors.
  • Designing studies and coordinating field surveys.
  • Preparing high quality technical reports.
  • Leading municipal, provincial and federal regulatory processes.
  • Preparing workplans for technical programs and writing high quality proposals.
  • Contributing to the growth and scientific development of the company.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in Fisheries Biology or other relevant sciences (graduate degree preferred).
  • Preference will be given to individuals registered with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (P. Biol.) or eligibility for registration.
  • 5 - 8+ years post-graduation experience in environmental consulting.
  • Project experience in fisheries, riparian and aquatic assessments, offsetting and habitat design, and stream channel processes.
  • Knowledge in erosion and sediment control and construction compliance is an asset.
  • A strong understanding of relevant provincial and federal legislation, regulation and permitting processes.
  • Leadership, project management and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical report writing experience.
