Westcana Electric is seeking a

Labourer

/

First-Year Electrical Apprentice

to support ongoing and upcoming electrical projects. These roles are ideal for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to build a career in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

Assist electricians and apprentices with daily tasks on job sites. Handle material deliveries and organization. Perform basic construction duties (site cleanup, moving materials, etc.). Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work under the supervision of journeyperson electricians. Learn and assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Participate in apprenticeship training and development.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to work in a construction environment (indoor/outdoor conditions). Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to safety.
