We are seeking motivated 1st year Apprentice Electricians and/or Electrical helpers/labourers to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop essential skills under the guidance of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and committed to safety standards. This paid apprenticeship is designed to provide practical training in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, preparing you for a successful career as a licensed electrician.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in industrial and construction settings Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs Work with low voltage systems as well as high voltage components under supervision Support the setup of electrical panels, control systems, and wiring assemblies according to specifications Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored after use Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills related to electrical work

Qualifications

Strong interest in developing skills as an electrician with a focus on safety and quality workmanship Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in physically demanding environments Construction experience or background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings Must have reliable transportation to get to the shop or worksite daily
