Job Title: First year Apprentice Carpenter/New to Carpentry

We are a General Contracting services company that primarily works in renovations. Though new custom home construction is in the works for the near future.

We are currently looking for a people in the early stages of their Apprenticeship or new to carpentry looking for a career in the trades.

At this time applicants would only need a good attitude and be interested in learning, can work well on their own or in a team situation.

We tend to do as much as we can in house so the opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills is there.

Job Summary:
We are a small construction company working primarily in renovations. However we tend do as much of the work in house as we can so there is a lot of variety. From demolition right through to the finished product.

Successful candidates would ideally have basic hand tools (tool belt, hammer, tape measure), their own transportation and an interest in learning.

I'm not expecting new hires to know or understand everything right away, my goal is to train up someone new or fairly new to carpentry in a wide range of skills.

Due to the variety of what we do, this is a very labour intensive job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
