dsPIC33 and similar microcontrollers
.
Design and optimize
real-time drivers, control algorithms, data acquisition routines, and communication interfaces
.
Collaborate with electrical engineering teams to support
mixed-signal hardware
, review schematics, and ensure robust firmware-hardware integration.
Perform
board bring-up
, system-level integration, and prototype validation.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize firmware performance under
high-temperature, high-vibration, and high-shock
operating conditions.
Conduct rigorous testing with oscilloscopes, DAQ systems, spectrum analyzers, and other lab instrumentation.
Support hardware modifications, soldering, rework, and low-level debug during development cycles.
Contribute to
technical documentation
, architecture notes, coding standards, and participate in code reviews.
Work closely with mechanical, software, electrical, and field operations teams for rapid iteration and product support.
Use Microsoft Office to prepare test reports, analysis summaries, and documentation packages.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering
, Computer Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
5+ years
of embedded firmware development using MPLAB or similar ecosystems.
Strong background in
real-time embedded systems
, interrupt-driven firmware, and resource-constrained architectures.
Experience reviewing or designing mixed-signal circuits, including ADCs, power stages, sensor interfaces, and communication buses.
