We are partnered with a HIGHLY reputable Fire Protection company that is actively looking to grow their already established team with a Fire Protection Business Devlopment Manager! Fire Protection Business Development Manager JOB SUMMARY:

• Generates leads for custom fire protection solutions which include fire suppression, detection and monitoring systems, clean agent and carbon dioxide suppression systems, and analog addressable fire detection and alarm systems.
• Assumes responsibility for improving sales within territory by establishing new relationships with \xe2\x80\x9cend users,\xe2\x80\x9d engineers, architects, and general contractors.
• Also assists sales force by conducting product and services presentations for customers, as required, to maintain customer relations.
• Additional responsibilities include developing and managing product and services presentation and support material.

Fire Protection Business Development Manager will also:

• Works closely with sales staff to assure product knowledge is current.
• Strategies shall include periodic technical presentations and the distribution of product technical updates. Maintains knowledge of competitive products, suppliers, and distribution.
• Prepares expense, vehicle and trip reports, and documents customer activity in PC-based contact manager.
• Identifies, contacts, and develops relationships with new customers - namely: end users, engineers, architects, and general contractors.
• Strategies used to develop leads shall include networking with customers, sales staff, vendors, cold calling, and advertising.
• Prepares sales presentations to support products and services.
• Promotes product offerings through sales presentations to customers.
• Works with management and Marketing Manager to assist in the development of sales/marketing plan by territory and product line.
• Develops project specifications to aid consulting engineers. Consults with engineering firms in an effort to promote usage of products in upcoming projects.

Fire Protection Project Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a Technical, Marketing, or Business field, or equivalent technical, sales, or marketing experience.
• Preferred degrees: Mechanical Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer
• 5-10 years related post-degree experience in the Fire Suppression Industry and/or the Fire Alarm Industry.
• NICET is a plus
• Experience and knowledge with Special Hazards
