Job Description

Royal City Fire; a branch of the Advantage One Group in conjunction with NovaWest Electrical, C&C Electrical Mechanical, Centerline Diesel Service, Coastal Food Equipment, and Centurion Contracting, is a dynamic, established 50 year-old organization seeking a full-time Extinguisher Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a great entry level position with no experience needed; training will be provided on the job by our knowledgeable team.

This position pays $22-$25/hr depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Fire Extinguisher Service Technician:

- Inspecting and testing Fire Extinguishers.
- Perform 6 year services and hydrostatic testing on Extinguishers that are due for service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assisting with other tasks in the shop environment
- Adhere to and promote the company's core values, processes, policies and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
- Additional duties as they may arise

The Ideal Candidate:

- Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs and stand for majority of shifts.
- Be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Be detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated, punctual, resourceful, and proactive.
- Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.
- A desire to become certified with ASTTBC is considered an asset.

- Driver's license is an asset but not necessary
