Maybe you have taken a Pre-employment course or have completed level 2?

We would like you to have some experience and knowledge at this point

Enough to be useful but we need you to be trainable.

is in its 18th year. Building about 25 projects this year. Booked until next summer.

We love what we do and build consistently fabulous interior renewal projects. We use better and best quality materials and employ people who are in the top 10 percent in their field. We do great work, celebrate successes, and take pride in building a better kitchen. Our customers are raving fans.

We are looking for someone who has skills but is still growing.

In this position you will tear down walls and existing kitchens and participate in the process of rebuilding interior spaces. Skill in boarding and taping drywall is important but we can teach it. Cabinet installation experience would be an asset but is not essential. Skill with a saw, the ability to hang a door, or miter base and case are nice not essential.

Some leadership ability. Liaise with employees, customers and inhouse designers. We expect leadership from everyone.

All jobs require some drywall hanging and taping. Big jobs we sub out. It would be helpful if you had the ability to do some basic electrical and plumbing. You may occasionally have to hook up dishwashers. We sub out paint but regularly do touch ups.

The test of your ability to do the job would be how well you fit with the team and your drive to grow into an exceptional carpenter

Requirements

You need a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle that doesn't drip oil.

Tools: You will need your own hand saws, hand tools etc. We will provide some large saws and job specific tools for handle installation etc.

We are looking for someone with some experience. Preference will be given to candidates with any carpentry training. Safety, Asbestos or First Aid training is a asset.
