Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for handling raw material, measuring and cutting window build outs, trim and baseboard, then installing and finishing using DAP and sanding to promote a clean and unblemished finish. Installing wire shelves in closets. Installing door handles, stops and magnets closures. Keeping a tidy work area is definitely part of this job requirement as well.

Duties and Responsibilities

Could involve one or more of the following tasks on the wall panel assembly line:

Maintain a safe and clean work environment Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Ability to work in a team environment contributing to effective production goals Identify and report faulty equipment, damage, and safety concerns to supervisor immediately Strong safety mindset with the ability to perform all duties with a high degree of safety consciousness Ability to perform carpentry/framing duties

Qualifications

Hardworking self-starter with a strong work ethic Be able to take instruction well and follow directions Wood Framing experience beneficial Team Player Strong working discipline and attendance record

Working Conditions

Plant conditions, working with heavy machines, and loud noises

Essential Job Function Requirements

May require heavy lifting up to 50lbs, extended periods of standing, active movement required, and must be able to work with hands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
