Finishing Carpenters and Cabinet Installers

to craft stunning interiors. Join us to build homes that shape New Brunswick communities!

As a Finishing Carpenter and Cabinet Installer, you'll deliver high-quality interior finishes for residential projects. You'll install drywall, paint, trim, cabinets, and flooring, ensuring precision and client satisfaction. Working under the Site Superintendent and coordinating with the Project Coordinator for materials, you'll uphold NBBC standards and WorkSafeNB safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Interior Finishes

: Perform drywall repairs, painting, and touch-ups to achieve flawless surfaces.

Trim and Casing

: Install trim and casing with precision to enhance aesthetics.

Cabinet Assembly and Installation

: Assemble and install cabinets, ensuring alignment and quality.

Flooring

: Install SPC, engineered hardwood, tile, and tiled showers, meeting design specifications.

Quality Control

: Address deficiencies (e.g., scratches, misalignments)

Material Coordination

: Verify material deliveries and report shortages to Project Coordinator.

Safety Compliance

: Follow WorkSafeNB PPE requirements (hard hats, safety boots)

Qualifications

Experience

: 2-4 years in finishing carpentry and cabinet installation.

Skills

: Proficient in drywall repairs, painting, trim/casing, cabinet assembly, and flooring (SPC, hardwood, tile). Ability to read blueprints and use tools (e.g., miter saws, nail guns). Detail-oriented, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Certifications

: WorkSafeNB training (WHMIS, Fall Protection) or willingness to complete within 30 days; Red Seal or First Aid/CPR an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 55 per week
