Overview

Rotech Pumps & Systems Inc. is seeking a

Finisher

to join our Mississauga, Canada facility. The Finisher will be responsible for the

final preparation, painting, finishing, packing, nameplate tagging, hydro-testing, and palletizing of industrial pump parts

. This is a hands-on position requiring mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with industrial finishing tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and finish industrial pump components including surface cleaning, masking, priming, and painting. Apply finishes using

spray paint equipment

(air and aerosol) and

primer coatings

to achieve required specifications. Perform

packing, palletizing, and crating

of finished parts to ensure safe transport. Attach and verify

nameplates, tags, and identification labels

per work orders. Conduct

hydro-tests

on finished products to verify performance and quality standards. Use and maintain

power tools

(nail gun, woodsaw, grinders, sanders) and other equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Work with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure smooth workflow in the finishing area. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in

industrial painting, finishing, or related roles

(preferably in pump or heavy industrial manufacturing). Knowledge of

surface preparation, painting, and finishing techniques

including spray painting and priming.

Mechanically inclined

with ability to handle power tools, woodsaw, nail gun, and other finishing equipment. Basic knowledge of

packing, palletizing, and material handling

. Ability to read and follow work orders and quality standards. Physically able to perform lifting and repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
