Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to concrete installation and finishing. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Duties: - Prepare surfaces for concrete placement by cleaning, leveling, and compacting - Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned and secured - Pour and spread concrete using various tools and equipment - Smooth and finish surfaces using hand or power tools - Apply curing agents or sealants to protect the concrete surface - Repair or patch damaged concrete as needed - Operate heavy equipment such as concrete saws, grinders, and vibrators - Read and interpret blueprints or construction plans - Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and equipment - Ability to build, renovate, and repair structures using concrete materials - Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting - Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints or construction plans - Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and best practices - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time - Basic welding skills are a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience.
