Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces, contributing to various construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals. The Concrete Finisher will play a crucial part in transforming raw concrete into finished products that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications. Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, such as trowels and floats, to achieve a smooth finish. Operate heavy equipment as needed for mixing and pouring concrete. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of designs. Renovate existing concrete structures by repairing and resurfacing as required. Apply caulking and sealants to protect finished surfaces from moisture and wear. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing minor repairs as necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with drywall installation techniques is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Experience in concrete forming techniques is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. A commitment to safety practices on the job site is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
