Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Finish Grade Bobcat Operators to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for precise grading and site preparation using Bobcat equipment, ensuring the foundation for various construction projects is accurately completed. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery operation, construction site safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience with commercial construction projects and operating multiple types of heavy equipment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Operate Bobcat skid-steer loaders to perform finish grading, excavation, and site leveling tasks with precision. Utilize excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks as needed to support various phases of construction projects. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Follow project specifications and blueprints to achieve accurate grading and site layout. Assist with the operation of dump trucks, tanker trucks, horizontal drilling equipment, and paving machinery when required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including Caterpillar machinery such as dozers, graders, loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks. Proven experience operating Bobcat skid-steer loaders for finish grading tasks. Strong background in construction site work with familiarity in excavation, paving, horizontal drilling, and water truck operations. Commercial driving skills with a valid license preferred for operating or transporting heavy equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to site grading. Excellent understanding of safety standards in construction environments. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Pay: $20.69-$40.00 per hour
