As Financial Systems Analyst, the successful candidate will be a key team member on projects related to business software solutions or enhancements/implementations as well as non-software related projects that improve business processes. Your passion for continuous improvement will contribute to the team's business objectives to develop, expand, and maintain our financial solutions.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Assist users of Business Central while updating, maintaining Business Central procedure documents;
  • Manage daily JIRA Tickets in a professional and timely manner to meet our service level agreement standards;
  • Assist the Senior Business Analyst and Financial Solutions Manager to document current processes through participation in and/or facilitate brainstorming sessions, root cause analysis or other discovery practices with stakeholders;
  • Balance the operational software (Agrosoft) g/l transactions to the financial software (Business Central) g/l transactions;
  • Gain a basic understanding of Agrosoft functions to be able to review Business Central transactions back to their original source;
  • Run, create, and maintain regular Jet Reports, and refresh monthly financial statements;
  • Perform ad hoc accounting duties as required including reconciliations, journal entries, and problem solving.
The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Business Analyst, or related field;
  • Experience in a customer service role;
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
  • Interest and or experience in accounting is an asset;
  • Experience with Business Central or similar financial application is an asset;
  • Experience with Agrosoft or agribusiness software solution is an asset;
  • Experience with Jet Reports is an asset;
  • Some travel may be required.
