Summary Stalwart is looking for a Financial Solutions Manager to manage relationships with high-net-worth and ultra high-net-worth clients, and to facilitate the process of establishing client life insurance policies while engaging with clients? existing tax and legal advisors. In this key role, you will be the primary point of contact and solutions manager for clients after handoff from the originator of the relationship. You will manage the development of requisite insurance solutions, taking into account client-specific structural, insurance, and tax objectives on the basis of the available suite of solutions provided at Stalwart. You will subsequently manage the client?s process from the initial application to the close of the insurance policy, including managing insurance models, client materials (including actuarial and legal opinions), financing, and all other steps required for the closing and maintenance of policies. Subsequently, you will maintain constant engagement with your clients to ensure the appropriateness of the solutions, and then address steps required for solution maintenance and amendment. Your role will include:

  • Developing client solutions within the context of their existing income, wealth, and overall objectives
  • Ensuring a fulsome understanding by the client of the proposed solution, including the decision-making process that established it as the dominant solution in each case
  • Facilitating the process of establishing insurance policies for clients, resulting in the closing of insurance transactions
  • Managing and maintaining insurance models and other materials to accurately reflect the most up-to-date client information
  • Supporting a designated portfolio of clientele, playing an integral role in business retention, and building upon customer relationships
  • Managing the collection, organization, and tracking of client information from the pre-application phase to policy issuance
  • Tracking the progress of applications through policy issuance, and following up as needed to collect additional information from clients or their doctors and schedule medical follow ups
  • Providing exceptional customer service by identifying and resolving any issues or concerns clients may have during the insurance procurement process
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on regulations and standards in the insurance industry
Required Skills or Experience
  • Any of a CPA designation, a CFA designation, or extensive experience in closing transactions in a field such as investment banking or corporate development
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A self-starter with problem-solving initiative and an ability to learn quickly
  • Committed to producing meticulous, accurate, and thorough work product
  • Significant experience with the Microsoft Office suite
Nice to Have Skills or Experience
  • Experience within the Canadian insurance market
  • Experience with underwriting administration
  • Experience with insurance software
  • Life insurance license is a plus
