Financial Reporting Manager:

for our Edmonton based operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our real estate operations and related group of companies through accurate financial reporting, proactive problem-solving, and strategic support.

Key Responsibilities:

:
Responsible for hands on preparation and oversight of financial statements for multiple portfolio companies & joint ventures within a private equity/family office environment. Preparation of consolidated financial statements including variance analysis and related reporting for financial and operational purposes. Work with CFO and operational leaders to identify, implement and monitor KPI's. Oversee small team of accounting staff and manage day to day activities, including AP and AR. Review and record complex related party and intercompany transactions, and reconciliation of related intercompany balances. Work closely with external accounting firm on year end tax engagements. Monthly, quarterly, and annual GST reconciliations and related remittances. Help develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Support CFO on M&A activity from time to time. Additional ad hoc financial duties as necessary.

Education and Experience:

:
CPA required Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with creating and reviewing financial statements Experience working within a multi-entity environment will be an asset * Needs to be very comfortable working with technology and software
