Job Description

Our downtown client is an Oil and Gas company looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant that is a CPA, ideally with 1-2 years of oil and gas experience but may also be open to a very motivated CPA looking to get into industry.

Job Duties

Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual Financial Statements Assist in completing monthly reporting package Prepare detailed variance analysis on balance sheet accounts Strong working knowledge of IFRS Prepare various detailed monthly and quarterly entries Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, staying up-to-date with any changes in regulations Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes
Qualifications

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with Public Practice experience is a must have Basic understanding of IFRS principles and standards is a must have Oil and Gas industry experience would be an asset Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel

Pay: $100,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
