With a heritage of technological excellence, our team serves customers in the communications, defense, medical, industrial, and scientific markets.FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYST MANAGERYOUR DAY TO DAY:You will be the driving force behind the financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes across the organization. You will provide commercial insights, challenge business performance, and lead the development of accurate forecasts, budgets, and management reports. Your role will involve partnering with sales, operations, and senior leadership to drive business growth and ensure financial integrity. Monthly travel to State College will be required to support on-site operations and strategic initiatives.YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support decision-making, scenario planning, and investment appraisals.
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Management Reporting and Insights:
  • Produce accurate and timely management reports, including analysis of sales, operational expenditure, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Take ownership of performance management, ensuring KPIs are tracked, reported, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into business performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management, challenging the business on performance and driving positive actions.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs linked to company strategy, ensuring they are measurable and drive operational improvements.
Strategic Planning and Project Support:
  • Demonstrate proven experience in strategic planning and supporting multi-million-dollar projects, providing financial expertise to ensure successful execution.
  • Support the strategic planning process, including pricing analysis, burden calculation, and other strategic initiatives, by providing financial modeling and analysis.
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to evaluate business plans, providing financial training and guidance as needed.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering financial expertise and insights to support growth and profitability.
Financial Integrity and Data Governance:
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data supplied by the financial accounting team to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the financial reporting team to align financial planning and reporting processes.
  • Implement and maintain robust controls to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data.
Stakeholder Communication and Presentation:
  • Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, tailoring messages to different audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to drive collaboration and alignment.
Travel and On-Site Support:
  • Travel to State College once a month to support on-site operations, provide financial guidance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with local teams to address financial challenges and opportunities, ensuring seamless integration of financial planning and operations.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of JDE and OneStream is a strong asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and supporting multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Willingness to travel to State College once a month.
Security
  • Must be able to meet Canadian Controlled Goods requirements.
