Responsibilities:



The Finance Operations Specialist is responsible for providing general financial support to Edgemont Athletic by owning or assisting in the following functions:

Bookkeeping - Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring all monthly reconciliations, entries, and documentation are completed with precision and timeliness. Auditing - Conduct regular internal audits to verify financial accuracy, uphold compliance standards, and identify opportunities for control improvements. Accounts Payable - Oversee vendor payments, invoices, and financial obligations to ensure timely, accurate processing and strong supplier relationships. Reporting - Compile, analyze, and present financial data and operational metrics to support informed, strategic decision-making. Payroll & Benefits Administration - Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements. Cash and Financial Management - Monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and contribute to the overall financial health and strategy of the organization. Inventory Management - Manage all food and club supply ordering, track inventory levels, and implement cost-effective controls to support restaurant and club operations.
The Finance Operations Specialist shall also assist in the following functions:

Assist in all financial matters of Edgemont Athletic. The execution of software efficiencies and operational efficiencies including, but not limited to, financial management, cash management, client management, payment processing, payroll, and company benefits. Responsible to document, update, and enforce policies/procedures as needed and directed Assist with back-office reconciliations and processes Management of Inventory Tracking, gathering, and analyzing data sets Regular communication with our other admin team members Cash balancing, compliance, data entry, and risk management Watch, listen to, and/or read relevant education materials Take on different assignments, projects, or directives

Minimum Requirements:



Self-Motivated Solution focused Strong communication skills Proactive leader who can work on their own as well as with a team Proficient experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite products Willingness to learn new systems and software Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while delivering on tasks Possesses excellent organization, high attention to detail and time management skills with the aptitude to establish priorities Promotes all aspects of the club and the community Displays and fosters integrity and honesty through the promotion of mutual trust and respect, demonstrates and fosters high moral standards, and treats others fairly and ethically Possess an attitude of never-ending improvement and therefore practice your skills daily and maintain the ability to act professionalism in all situations Experience with financial data, financial models, budgeting, and forecasting. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
