As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will participate in cost analysis, report preparation, and support for strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the teams at the

Yoplait Liberte plant in Saint-Hyacinthe

, supporting efforts in continuous improvement and financial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Management Component:

Assist the financial director in monitoring and analyzing the plant's budgets. Prepare monthly financial reports in collaboration with operational teams. Participate in the monthly closing process and preparation of accounting entries. Assist in evaluating investment projects, long-term planning, and productivity initiatives as well as special projects. Learn and apply continuous improvement principles to all functional processes of the plant.

Cost Analysis Component:

Analyze and track production costs and plant losses and identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data for cost analysis.

Capital Assets and Depreciation Component:

Participate in the physical inventory of the plant's capital assets and spare parts. Participate in analyses to support short- and long-term financial plans.

Compliance and Audit Component:

Assist in preparing the necessary documents for financial audits and ensure that financial controls are adhered to.

Desired Profile:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. Relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in office tools, particularly Excel and financial management software. Knowledge of SAP would be an asset. Good communication and time management skills. Ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines. Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Problem-solving skills and initiative. Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.

RESPONSABILITES

Volet Gestion Financiere :

Assister le directeur financier dans le suivi et l'analyse des budgets de l'usine. Preparer les rapports financiers mensuels en collaboration avec les equipes operationnelles. Participer au processus de cloture mensuelle et a la preparation des ecritures comptables. Aider aux evaluations des projets d'investissement, a la planification a long terme ainsi qu'aux initiatives de productivite et des projets speciaux Apprendre et appliquer les principes d'amelioration continue a tous les processus fonctionnels de l'usine.

Volet Analyse des Couts :

Analyser et suivre les couts de production et les pertes d'usine et identifier les opportunites d'amelioration. Collaborer avec d'autres departements pour recueillir les donnees necessaires a l'analyse des couts.

Volet Immobilisation et amortissements :

Participer a l'inventaire physique des immobilisations et pieces de rechange de l'usine. Participer aux analyses pour supporter les plans financiers a court et long terme.

Volet Conformite et Audits :

Aider a la preparation des documents necessaires pour les audits financiers et a s'assurer que les controles financiers sont respectes.

Profil recherche :

Baccalaureat en finance, comptabilite, ou discipline connexe. Experience pertinente, de preference dans un environnement manufacturier. Maitrise des outils de bureautique, notamment Excel et logiciels de gestion financiere. La connaissance de SAP serait un atout. Bonnes competences en communication et en gestion du temps. Capacite a travailler en equipe et a respecter des delais serres. Sens de l'analyse et souci du detail. Capacite a resoudre des problemes et a prendre des initiatives. Aptitude a travailler dans un environnement dynamique et en constante evolution.
