We are looking for a Financial Director to join an agrifood company located near Quebec! The candidate will supervise a small team of accounting professionals and will contribute actively to the growth of the company by ensuring the sound management of finances and accounting. Responsibilities:

Supervise the accounting department and ensure the operations are running smoothly;
Support and motivate the accounting team;
Establish training sessions and evaluation meetings for department\'s employees;
Analyze the company\'s financial statements and operational performance;
Participate in strategic planning of business activities and budget process;
Make recommendations to the management team based on the analysis of financial statements and various reports;
Determine performance indicators and create action plans accordingly;
Manage cashflow;
Collaborate with various partners regarding funding and grants;
Maintain and develop good business relationships with new partners as well as existing partners;
Perform all other related tasks.

Profile:

Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance and/or business administration;
10 years of experience in an SME in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry;
CPA designation;
Proficiency in Excel;
French and English bilingualism;
Work experience in a multi-company environment;
Comfortable with new technologies;
Excellent leadership and team spirit;
Experience with ERP systems is an asset;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain business relationships.
