The Financial & Spend ML/Experience team at Workday is responsible for the architecture and development of the machine learning services powering a range of applications in the financial domain. Our work is a blend of large-scale data processing, battle-hardened machine learning methodology, and microservice design that places craftsmanship at the forefront of everything we do. Built on a backbone of startup DNA, we operate with a high degree of autonomy and strong sense of ownership.

About You

As a part of this team you\'ll drive design, analysis and development of metrics collection and users\xe2\x80\x99 feedback systems to improve machine learning services through monitoring and personalization of the models.

Basic Qualifications:

4+ years experience with Python in production environments and a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals

4+ years experience designing experiments, A/B testing and data analysis in the domain of quality metrics for machine learning services

4+ years experience with designing and building metrics collection and data visualization

Other Qualifications:

Passion for decision making based on sound data analysis.

Proven understanding of modern frontend development frameworks (e.g., Angular or React)

Proven understanding of modern web applications architecture and development process

Understanding of REST-based API design, e.g., Flask or Django.

Interest in or experience with machine learning methodologies and tools (e.g. Natural Language Processing (NLP), sklearn, pandas, numpy, keras, tensorflow, etc.)

Exposure to large-scale data processing tools like Kafka, Spark, or Hadoop

Exposure to cloud-computing technologies like AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes etc.

Experience using modern frontend development frameworks (e.g., Angular or React)

Proven understanding of modern frontend development frameworks (e.g., Angular or React)

A strong sense of ownership and a persistent desire to grow and lead beyond the scope of the current role
