Vos principales responsabilit\xc3\xa9s comprennent :

• D\xc3\xa9velopper des solutions logicielles d\xe2\x80\x99apprentissage machine en vue de r\xc3\xa9soudre des probl\xc3\xa8mes majeurs.
• Collaborer avec des \xc3\xa9quipes de recherche et d\xe2\x80\x99affaires pour d\xc3\xa9cider des meilleures solutions.
• Optimiser les algorithmes et les prototypes de solutions en vue de leur mise en \xc5\x93uvre efficace.
• Transformer les prototypes en solutions parfaitement fonctionnelles et abouties, pr\xc3\xaates \xc3\xa0 un usage interne ou externe.
• Soutenir les projets en fournissant toute la documentation n\xc3\xa9cessaire sur l\xe2\x80\x99utilisation, les d\xc3\xa9cisions conceptuelles et les capacit\xc3\xa9s des solutions.
• Extraire, transformer et charger de vastes ensembles de donn\xc3\xa9es au moyen de technologies d\xe2\x80\x99informatique distribu\xc3\xa9e (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).

Vous \xc3\xaates notre candidat id\xc3\xa9al si :

• vous \xc3\xa9tudiez pour obtenir un baccalaur\xc3\xa9at ou une ma\xc3\xaetrise en informatique, en g\xc3\xa9nie informatique, en g\xc3\xa9nie logiciel ou un \xc3\xa9quivalent ;
• vous poss\xc3\xa9dez de l\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience en d\xc3\xa9veloppement de logiciels (comprend les programmes coop\xc3\xa9ratifs et les stages) ;

Co-op Machine Learning Software Engineer

What\xe2\x80\x99s the opportunity?

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an enthusiastic software engineer who\xe2\x80\x99s excited by the opportunity of being at the forefront of machine learning technology, and working on extremely challenging problems. As a Co-op Machine Learning Software Engineer, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be involved a project end to end \xe2\x80\x93 everything from data pre-processing to implementing machine learning algorithms and front-end development.

In this role, you will communicate frequently with head office staff in Toronto.

At Borealis AI, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be joining a team that works directly with leading researchers in machine learning, has access to rich and massive datasets, and offers the computational resources to support ongoing development in areas such as reinforcement learning, unsupervised learning and computer vision. Your responsibilities include:

• Building machine learning-based software solutions for solving important problems;
• Collaborating with research and business teams to converge on the best solutions;
• Optimizing algorithms and prototypical solutions for efficient implementation;
• Extending prototypes into fully functional, polished solutions ready for internal and/or external use;
• Supporting projects with thorough documentation of usage, design decisions and capabilities;
• Extracting, transforming and loading massive datasets using distributed computing framework technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.);

You\xe2\x80\x99re our ideal candidate if you:

• Are working on a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent;
• Have some software development experience (including co-op and internships);
• Have experience with writing software in one of the major languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python;
• Have familiarity with the Unix command line and bash scripting;
• Experience with Deep Learning packages such as Tensorflow, Theano, Keras and PyTorch is an asset;
• Exposure to distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) as well as SQL, NoSQL and graph databases is an asset;
