Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the
timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses
in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Conduct
variance analyses (actual vs. budget)
and coordinate investigation and resolution of discrepancies with appropriate department managers.
Monitor
cash flow, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Develop
budgets, forecasts, and financial models
to support business planning and decision-making.
Provide
strategic financial insights
to executive leadership, contributing to business planning and growth strategies.
Assist auditors by providing
necessary documentation and explanations
during financial audits.
Prepare and file
tax returns
, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Prepare
consolidated financial statements
, reviewing and coordinating the financials of both parent and subsidiary companies.
Communicate and negotiate with
external stakeholders
, including banks, insurers, and external auditors.
Qualifications
CPA designation required
Minimum 3-5 years of senior-level experience in accounting/finance, preferably with Controller experience
Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Experience in audit preparation, tax compliance, and variance analysis
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, or local accounting standards
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills
Familiarity with modern accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, etc.)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
