We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial management principles.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Lead and manage the finance/accounting department/bookkeepers
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Review all incoming funds (revenue, loans) and outgoing payments (expenses, payroll, taxes)
Prepare and consolidate in-house financial statements. Maintain total control over company finances
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Analyze financial data and share reports with management
Manage daily cash flow and ensure funds are available.
Create and review
project performas
(costing, ROI, financial impact) for new or ongoing projects
Coordinate with auditors and support external audit processes
Prepare and manage budgets; compare actuals vs. budget (variance analysis)
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and industry-specific accounting standards.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed.

Supervise and review the work of bookkeepers and accounting staff
Implement and monitor internal financial controls and processes
Manage the overall financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
Conduct payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform account reconciliation and analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar tools for efficient financial management.
Provide insights and recommendations based on account analysis to drive business decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in accounting or finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and payroll management.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
