Prepare and analyze
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Develop and enforce
internal control policies and procedures
to ensure the integrity of financial information.
Manage
budgeting and forecasting processes
, providing timely and accurate financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with provincial, and federal government
reporting requirements and tax filings

Coordinate audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.
Supervise and direct
accounting staff
, providing leadership and development.
Evaluate and improve accounting systems, practices, and processes.
Support strategic planning and provide financial insights to senior management.
Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial risk.
Prepare financial reports for
board meetings and stakeholders
.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
Minimum 5-7 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proficient in
accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP)
and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
