Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, proficiency with various accounting software, and excellent analytical skills to support strategic decision-making.

Duties



Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities and more. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into financial performance. Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to streamline financial processes. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning initiatives. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies through regular audits and internal controls. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation. Lead the implementation of new accounting systems or upgrades to existing software to improve efficiency. Provide leadership and training to finance team members to ensure best practices are followed.

Experience



Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within a dynamic organization. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and familiarity with other platforms like Microsoft Office is preferred. Strong background in managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, and account reconciliation. Demonstrated ability in account analysis and financial reporting. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Prior experience working with various accounting systems and implementing process improvements is highly desirable. Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
