As Controller, you'll be responsible for:

Bookkeeping: Manage our Quickbooks online bookkeeping system, Shopify sales platform and CIN7 (ERP) Accounts Payables and Receivables: Get suppliers paid and ensure we get paid on time HR: Administer payroll (VPM V-Tac Payroll system) and benefits program Alcohol taxes: Prepare and file our Federal and Provincial alcohol tax returns Inventory: Assist production staff with monthly inventory. Reconciling monthly inventory counts Reporting: Prepare monthly reports for management Budgeting: Assist management with preparing the annual budget including forecasting Cashflow: Maintaining a detailed cashflow Audit: Interface with our auditors to complete the annual review and engagement report Automation: Investigate tools to automate manual procedures Education: Interface with team members, and external suppliers to answer their accounting questions
Skills and Experience

Expert in Quickbooks. CPA designation preferred. Previous Controller experience in a small company. Experience with Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc...) and spreadsheets. Detail oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, change filled environment. Proven problem solving and decision making skills. Self-starter and likes to work independently

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
