Financial Controller



Ki International is an Alberta based piling contractor and has been operating since 2006 in Western Canada. Ki International's expertise in civil infrastructure, light industrial, power, commercial construction, residential and oilfield construction has an outstanding reputation in completing projects safely, on time, on budget, and with a superior finished project. We continue to expand and grow with the highest quality cast in place piling and shoring services.

The Financial Controller reports to the President. The Financial Controller is responsible for the administration of payroll, bookkeeping, tax and accounting. Exceptional attention to detail, financial literacy, and strong customer service skills are critical in this role. This position has responsibilities and functions that directly impact the Company.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of an accounting, job profit and loss, and expenses Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports Tax reporting and tracking Bank reconciliation based on job profit and loss, quarterly reporting, and yearly reporting Cash flow analysis Preparation of accruals Variance analysis Coordinate the financial planning and budget process, and analyze and correct estimates Supervise the development and implementation of financial simulation models Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to senior managers and other department or regional managers Act as liaison between the organization and its Directors. Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.

Qualifications:



Certified Professional Accountant of Canada designation or equivalent At least 5 years in financial controlling, bookkeeping, business administration, or equivalent experience Construction knowledge or experience an asset At least 3 years of admin or superuser experience with QuickBooks High admin use in SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Superior customer service, attention to detail, accuracy and communication skills in all areas of professionalism and problem solving while taking initiative Administrative Information Management Diploma an asset QuickBooks Certified is considered an asset
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
